The latest models, such as the Galaxy S25 series, already have One UI 7, but its on its way for S24, Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 users.A few days ago, Samsung removed references to exactly when the highly anticipated software would be released in the U.S.full details here.While the global release was still scheduled to roll out from Monday, April 7, all indications of when the release would begin in the U.S. were removed.This suggested to some, reasonably, Id say, that April 10 wasnt on the cards any more, with an uncertain delay for American users seemingly in prospect.However, as spotted by SamMobile, things have just changed again and the Samsung official newsroom has been updated. The update will be available in the U.S. starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6 on April 10, gradually rolling out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets, it says.That couldnt be clearer. In fact, its arguably more specific for U.S. users than others, as the global rollout, the newsroom says, will start on April 7.Its been a long wait for many Samsung users to be able to get hold of Android 15s benefits on their phones. Not to mention the Samsung-specific extras of One UI, such as the handy new Now Bar with its real-time updates on the lock screen. There are also redesigned One UI widgets and AI-enhanced features such as Writing Assist and Drawing Assist. Theres also the excellent Audio Eraser which can radically change audio quality on video recordings.Assuming there are no more changes at Samsungs end, April 10 is the date for your diary.
