I suppose its because the week is nearing an end but not quite there yet. Anticipation of the weekend is strong, but youre not quite chomping at the bit like you are on Friday. Of course, I dont really operate on a weekday vs weekend model anymore. If anything, my weekends are often busier work-wise than my weekdays. Go figure.
