The people of Atomfall don't use a normal commerce system involving a form of currency. Instead, they all exchange goods in a bartering system. This means that if you want to buy things such as weapons, ammo, healing items, crafting recipes, skill books, or even Atomic Batteries, you'll need to offer up something valuable if you want a successful trade.
