All Nintendo Switch 2 games announced so far, including exclusive games
We have a full view of Nintendo Switch 2 games now the April 2 Direct has come and gone — including a number of exclusives and launch titles, and that all-important release date for the console itself.It follows months of slim pickings following the console’s initial hardware-focused reveal in January, which also saw developers and publishers holding fire of their involvement until now.The following Switch 2 games list explains the exclusives, third-party games, and confirmed developers and publishers for the console from the launch and beyond.Update (April 8): Added two new games — Mouse Work and a Switch 2 version of the recent Suikoden I&II HD remaster.Table of ContentsSwitch 2 exclusive games listFirst, let’s look at the exclusive games coming to the Switch 2, whether that’s from Nintendo itself or from third-parties:Mario Kart World — This exclusive launch title has one big titular twist — each course is set amongst one continuous open world that you can also go off-piste and freely explore. Combine that support for up to 24 racers at once, and this is literally the biggest Mario Kart yet.Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour — Is it a tutorial? Is it a game? Whatever you want to class it as, it’s not free, and since it’s designed to showcase the many hardware features of the new system — such as new mouse controls — it’s as exclusive as you can get.Image: NintendoDrag x Drive — This three-on-three wheelchair basketball game uses Joy-Con mouse functionality for unique, tactile controls when it arrives summer 2025 as a download title.Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment — Koei Tecmo and Nintendo are joining forces once again to tell the story of the “Imprisoning War” — the events leading up to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — sometime in 2025.The Duskbloods — This FromSoftware-developed multiplayer exclusive is coming to Switch 2 sometime in 2026.Kirby Air Riders — Masahiro Sakurai and HAL Laboratory are prepping a sequel to Nintendo GameCube’s Kirby Air Ride sometime in 2025.Donkey Kong Banaza — This 3D Donkey Kong platformer is coming July 17 — just over a month after the Switch 2’s launch, giving us something to look forward to soon after the console’s summer rollout.Survival Kids — This Konami-developed puzzle-action game sees up to four players work together to survive a series of desert islands when it launches alongside Switch 2.Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and GameCube Classics gamesAs well as the above full exclusives, there’s a series of “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” titles, which are Switch 1 games “patched” to make the most out of the Switch 2 hardware (and is different to backward compatibility). If you want to an early taste, you can play a demo on Steam now.Goodnight Universe — The next game from the developer of the acclaimed Before Your Eyes casts you as a baby developing psychic powers.Hades 2 — The sequel to one of the most acclaimed action roguelikes in recent years will share more details about its Switch 2 edition later this year.Hitman: World of Assassination — IO Interactive’s collection of Hitman 1-3 will be a launch game.Hogwarts Legacy — New mouse controls “give you new ways to experience the adventure” on Switch 2 when it arrives at launch.Hollow Knight: Silksong — One of the most anticipated sequels in recent years is “real, progressing, and will release” — and the mention of a 2025 date in the April 2 Nintendo Direct reconfirms it.Human Fall Flat 2 — Teams of up to eight people can collectively face-plant in this puzzle-platformer on Switch 2, though there’s no release date beyond “coming soon.”Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess — This is a port of Capcom’s 2024 PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows PC action-strategy game that “plays like a lost PS2 cult classic.”Madden NFL — Though it’s not confirmed to be the 2026 edition, EA is bringing Madden NFL in some capacity to Switch 2.Marvel Cosmic Invasion — Dotemu’s modern day take on classic brawlers — complete with some stunning pixel art — is also a Switch 2 game when it arrives on winter 2025.Mouse Work — From the developer of Bomb Chicken and Shovel Knight Dig comes a multiplayer game designed entirely around mouse controls. As with other sports franchise announcements, whether this is the next entry in the series or a standalone edition remains to be seen.Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition The latest entry in one of the longest-running strategy series in gaming is getting ported to Switch 2 at launch.No Sleep For Kaname Date — From AI: The Somnium Files — What we’re getting next in Spike Chunsoft’s AI: The Somnium Files series of visual novels is coming to Switch 2 on July 25.Professor Layton and the New World of Steam — Professor Layton largely sat out the Switch 1 generation but returns to Switch 2 with a new game in 2025.Project 007 — IO Interactive’s yet-to-be-fully-unveiled James Bond project is coming to a Nintendo platform thanks to Switch 2.Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S — It wouldn’t be a Nintendo Switch launch without a Puyo Puyo game, and this features everything from Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, and adds in a new doubles mode for good measure.Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army — A remastered version of the classic PS2 Atlus action game comes to Switch 2 on June 19.Sonic X Shadow Generations — Sega has confirmed that 2024’s remaster — which featured a handful of new Shadow-specific levels — is getting a Switch 2 edition.Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions — This Devolver-published space game is coming 2026.Star Wars Outlaws — Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars game hits Switch 2 some time in 2025.Street Fighter 6 — Capcom’s fighter offers both a base game and a “Fighters Edition” with all 26 characters to date. And, for the amiibo fans out there, there are three new figures to collect and scan in-game.Split Fiction — Hazelight’s acclaimed split-screen couch co-op game is a confirmed launch title.Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars — A Switch 2-specific version of the recent RPG remaster is on the way.Synth Beasts — A “monster-taming action RPG” that has you use captured monsters on the scientists who created you is coming to both the original Switch and Switch 2, as well as all current and last generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles, according to a Kickstarter page.Reanimal — Building out the Switch 2’s local co-op offerings is this horror game from the creators of Little Nightmares, out in 2025.Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 — The much-requested skate sequel double pack is also coming to Nintendo’s new console.Two Point Museum — The latest in the Two Point series was notably absent from the original Switch, and it looks like they were waiting for better hardware. Expect this sometime in 2025.Wild Hearts S — The original Wild Hearts missed the Switch the first time around, and whether this is a sequel, reboot, or revamp remains to be seen — but we’ll know more when it arrives July 25.Witchbrook — The cooperative potion-brewing life sim comes just in time for cozy season: winter 2025.WWE2k — 2K is bringing — what we imagine to be — the next in its wrestling series to Switch 2.Yazuka 0 Director’s Cut — This edition comes with newly added cutscenes, and is a Switch 2 launch title.Yooka-Replaylee — The remaster of 2017 Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor Yooka-Laylee is confirmed for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as “Nintendo” — notably, not the Switch, implying it’s Switch 2.See More:
