SCI-Arc launches task force to support California wildfire recovery
In the aftermath of the destructive wildfires in Altadena and Pacific Palisades, the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) has announced the establishment of its Resilient Futures Task Force, an initiative aimed at assisting affected communities with recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Led by SCI-Arc’s Erik Ghenoiu, the task force brings together architects and educators from SCI-Arc, landscape architects Terremoto, and local community partners. The team’s goal will be to provide homeowners and neighborhoods with resources, design expertise, and educational support as they navigate the complexities of post-disaster recovery.
