US President Donald Trump’s recent announcement that all reciprocal tariffs, except China’s, will go down to 10% for 90 days could be good news for gamers who want to purchase the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. As the trade war subsides a little after Trump’s initial wave of tariffs, this gives Nintendo a good window of opportunity to sell the Switch 2 at the original price in the United States, something that may not have been possible if the previous high tariffs continued.
