Here’s a preview of an upcoming presentation at the Venice Architecture Biennale designed by Carlo Ratti Associati in collaboration with the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) and Prada Group. The SEA BEYOND Ocean Literacy Centre is to be located on San Servolo Island and will educate the public on issues related to water, ocean science, and their relationship to the human environment during climate change.   Image courtesy DotdotdotMultiple rooms equipped with data-driven storytelling abilities courtesy of design studio Dotdotdot will visualize a greater understanding of challenges that affect, among other bodies of water, the Venice Lagoon. The experience unfolds exponentially, based on the the Power of 10 concept from Charles and Ray Eames’ 1977 film. The Biennale opens on May 10th, 2025.
