Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza prices remain unchanged for physical and digital editions
Nintendo announced Friday via an update to its website that Nintendo Switch 2 games Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza will sell for the originally announced prices of $79.99 and $69.99 respectively, including both the physical and digital versions of the titles. This comes after the company previously delayed Switch 2 pre-orders, prompting speculation that the console and game prices would be raised in light of the Trump administration’s announced tariffs.
On Friday, Nintendo also confirmed that pre-orders for the U.S. would now go live on April 24, and that prices for the console would are unchanged. The Switch 2 will remain priced at $449.99 for the unit alone and $499.99 for the Mario Kart World bundle.
However, per the company’s statement, “Nintendo Switch 2 accessories will experience price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions. Other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product are also possible in the future depending on market conditions.” You can find more details on the pricing on the company’s website.
The Switch 2 launch date of June 5 remains the same.
