Capcomcontinues to keep Resident Evil fans largely in the dark regarding the future of the franchise. Ever since 2023's massively successful remake of the landmark fourth entry, the assumption has been that it would then be focusing its attention on the next numbered Resident Evil installment. As time has gone on, though, the developer has provided little in the way of actual updates.
