You’ll work with a team of other data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines that allow our stakeholders to understand our business.You can work from Twitch’s headquarters in San Francisco, CA.You Will:Work closely with data scientists and engineers to create robust data architectures and pipelinesDevelop and manage scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sourcesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutionsAutomate data processing and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and data integrityImplement data quality checks and monitor processes to maintain high data accuracySimplify and enhance the accessibility, clarity, and usability of large and complex datasets through the development of data cubes and data sharing solutionsDevelop and manage scalable, automated, and fault-tolerant data solutions using technologies such as Spark, EMR, Python, Redshift, Glue, and S3You Have:1+ year of experience working in a data engineering, data science, or software engineering capacityDeep expertise in writing and maintaining robust data pipelines in SQL and PythonAbility to turn data requirements from stakeholders into actionable plansExtensive experience with cloud computing tools, like AWS, Azure, or Google cloudProven experience implementing best practices in data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliabilityBonus PointsBachelor's degree, or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, information systems, or a related, technical fieldExperience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)Familiarity and interest in TwitchPerksMedical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance401(k)Maternity & Parental LeaveFlexible PTOAmazon Employee DiscountPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Job ID: TW8800Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
