PlayStation has revealed that Ghost of Yotei will launch on October 2 with three different editions for PS5. Preorders for Ghost of Yotei's pair of physical editions, including a Collector's Edition that's exclusive to PlayStation Direct, will begin on May 2 at 10 AM ET. All preorders include several pieces of DLC.If you want to play the original before Ghost of Yotei's release, you can pick up Ghost of Tsushima's Director's Cut for $49.49 (was $70) right now. Ghost of Yotei takes place 300-plus years after Ghost of Tsushima, so you don't technically need to play Sucker Punch Productions' first entry in the action series. That said, playing it would give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from Yotei. Though the cast of characters is entirely new, the premise and themes will sound familiar.
