Pokémon was launched in Japan in 1996 and today is one of the most popular children's entertainment properties in the world.Learn more online at corporate.pokemon.com and pokemon.com.Get to know the roleJob Title: Business Intelligence Analyst III (Market Research) Job Summary: The business intelligence analyst will drive change through the development of analytics and data insight capabilities within The Pokémon Company International. This position will primarily be responsible for delivering analysis, reporting, and dashboards for high-level market research projects at TPCi. The analyst will also provide support on survey design and programming, and work with our partners to ensure high-quality, actionable research. This role will function as a market research SME to stakeholders and act as the analytical go-to for insights to support data-driven decisions across the business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-directed, and have a keen ability to identify the actionable insights hidden within complex data. FLSA Classification (US Only): Exempt People Manager: NoWhat you’ll doOwn all parts of the Market Research program at TPCi: performing analysis, building tracking dashboards, designing/programming surveys, working collaboratively with vendors to drive insight across the business.Own, maintain and deliver on the roadmap for each workstream of the Market Research programBecome an analytics SME for high value and high impact projects to represent BI interestsCreate dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators and effectively communicate trends.Identify opportunities to streamline or automate data collection and improve business processesAnalyze data using statistics and other methodologies to solve business problemsResearch and understand key factors in consumer behavior to inform our product development and go-to-market strategyEffectively scope, size, and plan the development of analytical solutions and set expectations accordinglyWork with business leaders to understand and prioritize opportunities where data and analytical insights can provide significant business valueWhat you’ll bringFive (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience.Bachelors degree required.Advanced user of SQL for data analysis.Experience writing and programming surveys in Qualtrics or similar tools.Experience with data visualization through Tableau or similar tools.Solid base of statistical knowledge with an ability to explain analytical methodologies simply and accurately.Ability to work and communicate across multiple levels (leadership to individual contributors) and different stakeholder groups.3+ years providing analytics in a business setting, ideally in the gaming industry.Experience managing market research projects with vendors is a plus.A background in social science (psychology, political science, economics, etc…) is a plus.Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $105,000 - $124,450 per year. The full range is $105,000 - $157,000 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
