Some content here will be fully rigged and animated in Unreal Engine. You will help push the tools forward, help develop new workflows, and shape future engine development. Joining this team means you’re motivated to seek solutions to problems and work with other artists to make positive changes to improve character creation in Unreal Engine. The heart of this role is rigging and animation in Epic’s core projects.In this role, you willRig characters, creatures, and other assets in Control Rig as well as MayaSet up assets in Unreal Engine 5, including physics and animation blueprintsWork closely with animators, character artists, asset implementers, and other technical artists to ensure a smooth delivery of high-quality assetsWhat we're looking forExtensive experience rigging characters in Maya or Control RigA portfolio demonstrating rigging for a range of characters, bipeds, and creaturesFamiliarity with the Unreal Engine’s Control RigExceptional problem-solving ability with strong written communication and teamwork skillsExperience with AAA game development, preferably on a large team using an established game engine (internal or commercial), ideally with Unreal EngineSelf-motivation, a strong work ethic, a drive to learn more and improve skills, and the ability to work independentlyPython programming experience is a plusEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
