The AIA San Francisco chapter’s Design Awards program just announced a slate of 19 winning projects for 2025. Six Honor winners and seven Merit honorees were joined by others who received Citations or Commendation Awards in either the Architecture or Interior Architecture category. Adding to the winning project designers were the Emerging Professional Award honors for Julia Weatherspoon, AIA; Kevin Riley, AIA; and Madhubala Ayyamperumal, Assoc. AIA. The Stay Over Project Team from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco collectively took home the Student Award. Leadership Award honorees included Adrianne Steichen (Marsha Maytum Citizen Architect Award), Mike Martin (Sandra I.
