It's the biggest month of the year for Star Wars fans, as May the Fourth brings a new animated miniseries and virtual tours of Disney's theme park attractions, as well as the final episodes of Andor's second season. Marvel fans get the latest Spider-Man animated movie, and the streaming service is also premiering cartoons, documentaries, and more. Here are our picks for the best of May on Disney+.Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (May 1)The second animated Spider-Man film didn't quite pack the charm and strangeness of Into The Spider-Verse, but there's still a lot to recommend it. Miles Morales returns as the web-swinger of Earth-1610, contending with school, parents, and villains. When a creep from a parallel universe called the Spot discovers that he can hop between them to increase his power, it kicks off a multiversal journey involving Gwen Stacy and dozens of spider-heroes. The sequel is on the way in 2027.Star Wars: Tales Of The Underworld (May 4)May the Fourth always brings a passel of new Star Wars content to enjoy, and this year focuses on the villains with a drop of the entire first season of Tales of the Underworld, a new animated series that follows two less-than-savory characters from the Clone Wars series, former dark Jedi Asaji Ventress and Duronian bounty hunter Cad Bane. Set between the events of Dark Disciple and the first Clone Wars series, it's a must-watch for fans. (Note for gamers: The first two episodes premiere in Fortnite on May 2.)Tucci In Italy (May 19)For something completely different, why not head over to the Continent with actor Stanley Tucci as he travels through Italy visiting each of the country's regions and exploring its cuisine and how it relates to the people and their culture.
