Taylor Swift’s Former Kennedy Compound–Adjacent Manse Lists for $15 Million
Taylor Swift’s former Cape Cod beach house has hit the market for a hair under $15 million, per Mansion Global. The historic oceanfront property, located in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, is perched on a 1.1-acre lot overlooking Nantucket Sound and boasts 200 feet of coveted ocean frontage. The New England pad spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with eight bedrooms, all of which are outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows bathing the space in natural light and offering panoramic waterfront views.A foyer welcomes guests into the home’s formal living room, which features exposed ceiling beams and a fireplace as well as built-in shelves. Beside it is a large dining room and a chef’s kitchen that face the water. Swift’s onetime shoreside home also comes complete with a number of well-appointed lounge areas, including an outdoor sunroom and pergola, which is outfitted with beamed ceilings and sash windows. Among the other amenities on the property are a home office, a gym, a lofted library, a heated pool, and a three-car garage.Swift, who owned the property for under a year, reportedly bought the mansion in late 2012 for $4.8 million. At the time, the pop star was rumored to be dating Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The house sits right across from the famed Kennedy compound, and the You Belong With Me singer was spotted spending time with the family on Cape Cod throughout the summer of that year, including sightings of Swift and Conor around the beach and ringing in the Fourth of July together. In addition to the recently listed residence, Swift also reportedly rented a small house at the family’s compound during the courtship—a requirement for guests by the property’s manager.Join NowAD PRO members enjoy exclusive benefits.
