The Simpsons coming to Fortnite claims leak but fans aren’t sure they want it
The Simpsons coming to Fortnite claims leak but fans aren’t sure they want it Michael Beckwith Published May 8, 2025 2:14pm Updated May 8, 2025 2:14pm Even they can’t believe it (Disney/X) A list of alleged Fortnite leaks has a lot of claims about the upcoming seasons, with the most contentious being a crossover with The Simpsons. It’s not even been a whole week since Fortnite began its Star Wars themed Galactic Battle season and fans are already looking to see what comes next in the battle royale. Since Galactic Battle is labelled in-game as Mini Season 1, and is scheduled to run only for a month, it’s reasonable to assume Epic Games plans to have at least one more smaller season before the end of Fortnite Chapter 6. Rather than just the next mini season though, the latest rumour claims to have info about multiple upcoming seasons and amongst them is the suggestion that The Simpsons is going to be a part of Fortnite. Is The Simpsons coming to Fortnite? According to a list of Fortnite leaks that’s making the rounds online, the plan is for a Simpsons themed mini season to arrive after the next two seasons of Fortnite. The list appears to originate from a dedicated Discord channel for Fortnite leaks, with Fortnite leak accounts on X, like Loolo and SpushFNBR, sharing and discussing the details. Although there’s not much info on what this alleged Simpsons season will include, it’s said it will add the town of Springfield as a new POI (point of interest) on the Fortnite map. No doubt it would include playable skins for a handful of characters, such as Homer. The Simpsons in Fortnite seems an unlikely mix but it isn’t entirely outside the realms of possibility. Even ignoring the claims last year, of a Simpsons crossover, similar adult animated shows have made an appearance in Fortnite, such as Family Guy and Futurama. Plus, The Simpsons is owned by Disney, which has a very close working relationship with Epic Games. Aside from adding a number of its properties to Fortnite, Disney invested $1.5 billion into Epic Games to build an ‘expansive and open games and entertainment universe connected to Fortnite.’ That said, there’s a lot of scepticism among fans. One leaker, Blortzen, thinks The Simpsons rumour is completely fake and judging by replies on X, plenty agree with them. ‘I don’t even know what they would do for this. What weapons and updates would they do for this?’ questioned PawP. ‘This is literally the least believable s*** I’ve ever heard,’ wrote DJBuchan, before adding, ‘It would be peak though.’ More Trending Other fans are similarly unsure how a whole Simpsons season would work, with some outright opposed to the idea. But there are also those who are eager to see it actually happen. Unlike previous Fortnite leaks, this information doesn’t appear to have been datamined from the game’s files, which is why a lot of Fortnite leaks tend to be accurate, and instead comes from alleged insider knowledge of Epic Games’ plans. That said, the claims of the next season after Star Wars being superhero themed seem to be legit, with prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX sharing art of superhero skins for original Fortnite characters while also claiming the season will feature a Superman collab – given the movie will be out around that time. This will allegedly be followed by a ‘Bug Invasion’ season, whatever that means, with Chapter 7 beginning after The Simpsons season wraps up. Curiously, while the leak mentions nothing about Chapter 7’s first season, it does claim the second one will be Norse themed.
