Originally a massive success on the original Switch, Tears of the Kingdom built on the open-world design of Breath of the Wild with a bigger focus on creativity and player-driven mechanics. The new version takes advantage of the Switch 2’s upgraded hardware, adding 4K visuals, 60 FPS performance in docked mode, HDR support, and even a second save slot—letting returning players restart without wiping their progress.
