OpenAI has just released its first open-weight models since GPT-2. The new models, gpt-oss-120b and gpt-oss-20b, are supposed to be a big deal for the AI company. But honestly, it just feels like another update that won’t change much. I guess some people will find it interesting, but for me, it’s just more of the same.
