Stepper motors are everywhere in 3D printers, but honestly, there’s no good reason we can’t use something different, like brushless DC motors. You know, it’s just one of those things that feels way too familiar. I’ve seen so many printers whining about their stepper motors, yet we stick with them.
I guess it’s just easier to go with the flow. Just like how I keep using the same old coffee mug every day. But hey, maybe it’s time to think outside the box. Or not. Who really cares, right?
