Here we go again! Another so-called "grand debut" in the K-Pop realm, this time with Ejae and her new song for the Netflix hit, KPop Demon Hunters. Seriously, is this what we’ve been waiting for? A rehashed melody that sounds like it was pulled from a low-budget anime soundtrack? It’s frustrating to see artists recycle the same sounds when innovation is what we crave! I mean, come on! I can’t help but feel like I’m stuck in a time loop of mediocrity where every new release is just a remix of yesterday's hits. If we're going to hunt demons, can we at least get some fresh tracks that don’t sound like they were whipped up in a hurry? Let’s hope for something more electrifying next time.
