Modern Open-Concept Living in this Neutral-Toned Minimalist Apartment
Simplicity and sophistication come together in this warm apartment. As you walk through the space, youll hear every corner whispering calm and elegance. Thanks to Mood Design, Julia Lavreca, and Roman Picunov, we get to see a uniquely pared-back space. We say unique because usually, plenty of accessories are used to bring warmth to an interior. Not here, though. The ambiance (read: lighting) and textures for the major furnishings strategically achieve the purpose, while accessories and soft furnishings remain minimal. For the open-floor plan, we see a color affair of beige, brown, and slateundeniably factoring in warmth. The living area features a large sofa (great for sprawling out with loved ones) paired with two accent chairs. A central coffee table houses a bunch of candles and coffee table books, offering a decorative presence in the space. Not to forget the rug, which delineates the living from the kitchen and dining areas.AdvertisementBehind the living room, there is a chunky brown table paired with dining chairs. This is in close proximity to the kitchen. We dont blame you if you dont notice the kitchen at first sight; the hardware-less sleek cabinetry and built-in appliances would trick anyone into thinking its a mere sleek backdrop for the dining.A rattan door leads you to a warm bedroom in the apartment. A minimalist bed sits low with the floor next to an angular side table (which is interestingly integrated with a lamp). On the other end is a sleek workstation, featuring a wall-mounted wooden table. This is actually a design trick to make the space look bigger, as the wall-mounted plank frees up the space underneath. A window, paired with blinds, lets residents enjoy outdoor views in the space as they work through the day.The bed can also be placed as two single pieces with a soft upholstered side table in between. This adds to the textures of the space. This bedroom setting houses a similar bed paired with an angular side tableslightly different buildand strategic light. The rug underfoot diversifies textures and warms up the ambiance. Simultaneously, open shelving allows residents to display their favorite accessories. In another setting, we see potted flowers placed on the sidetableopposite a freestanding mirror that reflects this stunning view. The mirror is also a great way to reflect the light entering from the window to open up the space.Last (but definitely not the least) is the bathroom. This features two organically-shaped mirrors over the double vanity, adding a sense of movement to the space. The ambiance is dimly lit with warm golden lights. We also see separate cubicles for the wall-mounted toilet as well as the shower. The beige color palette is complemented by dark brown cabinetry, great for hiding away essentials.Related Posts: 35 Stunning Black Kitchens That Tempt You To Go Dark For Your Next Remodel 7 Types Of Interior Design Styles For Your Home 25 Cozy Mid Century Modern Living Room Ideas 25 Luxury Bedroom Design Ideas
