The region around Yantai, China has realized industrial and tourism opportunities thanks to its involvement in a national development program, but missing from the growth was cultural venues. Sun Tower by Open Architecture was built to help fill this gap.Sun Tower by OPEN Architecture has opened its doors in Yantai, China, delivering a new outdoor theater, exhibition areas, library, cafe, bar, and what designers are calling a Phenomena Space contained within a conical structure overlooking the water.
