UE4 Alien Egg Mesh / Shader WIP
I did a pass on this old Alien Egg mesh I made awhile back (mudbox / substance painter / 3ds max), integrating it into UE4 and mainly updating the shader used on it. I grabbed some of the material functions from my new UE4 Environment Prop Master Material Pack V2, and created a new shader with them for it. I eventually wanna have the actual shape of the alien moving around inside of the egg. For now it's using Subsurface Profile, with a basic bump offset with Emissive Fresnel to fake a translucent interior that moves slightly. Still needs a bit of love, but having fun with it :)
