Van Cleef & Arpels celebrated a new chapter in its relationship with New York City this week, opening a flagship on Madison Avenueits third shop in the city. Situated in a landmark building on the corner of 62nd Street and Madison Avenue, the new boutique spans five levels and a rooftop while maintaining an intimacy that would make even the most discerning clientele feel at home. The jewel box features moments of glamour peppered throughout: a Veronese chandelier in the entry, Ludo-inspired metallic screens on the exterior windows, and a hand-painted Fromental floral paper on the second floors walls. Founder Greg Chait tapped Isaac Brest and Michael Bargo as collaborators for the Crosby Street space, with the latter consulting on furniture and decor sourcing.
