From solar-powered cars to floating cell towers in the sky, scores of companies are working on technologies designed to build a more sustainable future. Here's some of the most exciting green tech we'll be keeping an eye on in 2025.We start off with the Aptera, a super-efficient electric vehicle powered at least partly by solar power that has been working its way toward production for almost 20 years. I visited Aptera HQ in 2022, where I rode in some of the prototypes. The Aptera's aerodynamic shape is designed to maximize efficiency and make the most out of its onboard solar panels.
