Elvie, a female-founded hardware startup, has unveiled a new app-controlled smart bouncer that gently transforms into a bassinet while the baby is still in it. With the new Elvie Rise, announced at CES 2025 on Monday, parents and caregivers dont have to move their baby between soothing, sleep, and play products.The startup is known for its portfolio of femtech products, including a connected breast pump and smart pelvic floor exerciser, and is now expanding into the sleep category with its latest product.In bouncer mode, the product uses Elvies SootheLoop technology to record and repeat the bounce originally established by a parent or caregiver. It can also be used as a manual bouncer if parents dont want automated bouncing. In bassinet mode, the smart bouncer follows the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)s sleep safe guidelines, allowing babies to sleep safely at night and during naptime.Image Credits:ElvieParents and caregivers can use the companion Elvie Rise Sleep & Soothe app to control automated bouncing. The app will also provide parents with valuable insights about their babys sleep patterns.
