Nothing signals the start of a very busy period in the gaming calendar better than the start of Gamescom, and as usual, the massive gaming expo is kicking things off with Geoff Keighley's annual showcase, Gamescom Opening Night Live. Like previous years, this will be streamed on various platforms and gaming fans can expect two hours of announcements and gameplay trailers.Keighley will once again host Opening Night Live, and so far, numerous games have been confirmed for the show. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Marvel Rivals, Little Nightmares 3, and Monster Hunter Wilds are just some of the games you can expect to see, and something beastly has been teased. Borderlands 4We got our first look at Borderlands 4 during Opening Night Live with a brand-new cinematic trailer teasing ripped dimensions, a planet scarred by veins of Eridium, and a mysterious robotic hand reaching for the signature mask of a Pandoran bandit. The game will be out in 2025. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6An extended look at a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 mission was shown off, and unsurprisingly, it was full of bullets, explosions, and a glimpse at former US president Bill Clinton. The game is looking as visually impressive as ever with its blockbuster-style pacing, and this year's entry in the series looks like it came straight out of a '90s action movie.
