This Odu concept is by Hungary-based industrial designer Alberto Vasquez. It's a series of modular cubes holding omnidirectional drawers.The drawers register in the center position via detentes. And here's an interesting detail: When you lift one of the units up to move it, the drawer is meant to sink into a channel, preventing it from falling out. (However, while I see the arrangement in the right half of the animation below, I'm not seeing it in the left.)
