One Piece has changed since its far more peaceful and simple beginnings. What is now a massive epic following the exploits of a universe full of pirates, was once a much simpler journey about a group of friends trying to survive in a dangerous world. Back then, each character's goals and dreams in One Piece seemed simpler, since the audience didnt know the true extent of how difficult it would be to make them a reality.
