The Methodist church, which Garner described as a central place for the community, burned down. Its my familys church and its where my kids went to Sunday school. We lit the Advent candle together there a couple of weeks ago, she lamented. I feel almost guilty walking through my house, Garner continued, describing the scale of the loss to the Pacific Palisades. My heart bleeds for my friends. I mean, I can think of 100 families, and there are 5,000 homes lost.
