Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Is Apparently Off To A Rough Start On PC

This week saw the arrival of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC, and similar to several other PlayStation Studios games ported over to that platform, it looks like the game is experiencing a rough launch. On Steam, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 currently has a mixed reception in the user reviews section, with many players claiming that they've experienced frequent bugs and poor optimization so far."To say this is 'rough' is an understatement," one of the user reviews reads. "Lighting doesn't load in some cutscenes, those same scenes run at seconds-per-frame, audio desync issues up the wazoo, freezing, stuttering, and just about every other performance issue I can think of." Other players have mentioned hard crashes to desktop at an alarming rate, numerous bugs, and a generally unplayable experience even with PC hardware that meets the recommended system requirements, which were only revealed a day before launch.
