Today we launch Dezeen Awards 2025, in partnership with Bentley, and begin this year's search for the best buildings, interiors and designs around the world.I bet every designer reading this went into the profession to make a difference. For some, that spark might result in a journey that has seen them create a truly life-changing design, such as our 2022 design project of the year, Wheeliy 2.0 a foldable lightweight wheelchair. For others, it's simply to make our spaces better the buildings, interiors and designs that form part of our everyday lives are just as important.View this post on InstagramA post shared by Dezeen (@dezeen)Dezeen Awards 2025 has launchedDesign matters.Whether it's our homes, places where we come together such as bars, cafes or restaurants, or spaces such as hospitals where design can play a key role in supporting us through life's ups and downs.Top: Dezeen Awards 2025 identity designed by Micha Weidmann Studio. Over the years, we've longlisted 2,260 projects, shortlisted 1,579 and crowned 346 winners. All have received considerable attention, many noting that the international recognition they received was pivotal for their businesses. This year will be no different. We had entries from designers based in close to 100 countries last year we'd love to beat that this year! Our 2024 party was Dezeen's biggest event to date with more than 600 guests, including Sabine Marcelis and Lee Broom, but our end-of-year bash in 2025 will be bigger, and dare we say it, better!Over 600 architects and designers gathered for the Dezeen Awards 2024 party. Our prices have been low from the start some of the lowest across the industry, in fact a deliberate decision to make Dezeen Awards affordable to all designers. This year we continue this commitment and have frozen the prices, as well as continuing to have lower prices for those entering from the smallest studios. We've also added new categories. These include house extensions, kitchens and bathrooms they're projects smaller studios might cut their teeth on. Collectible design and bespoke commissions can also now enter in response to this growing trend.Garden Tower House by Studio Bright was shortlisted in the house extension category in 2023. This is the third year of Bentley's wide-ranging partnership with Dezeen and we look forward to supporting the architectural and interior design sectors as they push into a more sustainable future."Entries are open!
