The Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize finalists for Cycle 5 have been announced via a live event held at the Anahuacalli Museum in Mexico City.Jurors Dirk Denison, Maurice Cox, Giovanna Borasi, Mauricio Rocha, Gregg Pasquarelli, and Sofa von Ellrichshausen chose five projects completed between June 2022 and December 2023. Their selection includes projects from the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Argentina.In making the announcement, Denison stated: "This cycle, we have been inspired by the striking presence of each of the finalists, and their inventive responses to distinctive social and environmental contexts. But these projects show us that its not only design leading the way.
