There Are MurdersNetflixTheres currently a bit of a strange situation going on in the Netflix top 10 list, where a new show has premiered on Netflix and has done extremely well, but it has not been reviewed by any critics at all. Not one. But as someone who has started the series, I can say its gripping and definitely worth watching. So far, its the best crime show Ive seen for a while on the service.That show is The re Murders, a Swedish noir mystery that has just premiered. Its at #2 in the US behind only the return of Sweet Magnolias, but around the globe? Its currently the top show in the most countries in all Netflix regions right now. By my count that is 33 different regions, and Prison Cell 211 is the next closest with two dozen or so. That show is only #7 on Netflixs US list right now.Whats The re Murders about? As in, whats the context of the murder? Shes written a number of books, and while the Sandhamn Murders series is the biggest with eight entries, The re Murders has two books, so at least a second season could be based on that. The Sandhamn Murders was already adapted into a show which got 100 million viewers several years ago. From the looks of it The re Murders may be a big hit as well.MORE FOR YOUThe rest of the US list has the new influencer scam series Apple Cider Vinegar at #3. The Night Agent has fallen to #4, though it remains at #1 in many countries. The Recruit is down to #6 after never getting past #3, and I am concerned for its future.As for The re Murders, you can either trust me that its quite good, or youll just have to give it a go and try it for yourself. As a big fan of foreign murder stories, Im the target audience. Where there are some reviews is IMDB, which has it at a 6.6/10. In the context of IMDB ratings, thats actually pretty good.
