Although each mainline Persona game is largely standalone, the one major throughline for the series is the Velvet Room where players go to unlock new Personas. The Velvet Room's proprietor, Igor, has stayed the same throughout the Persona series, but his attendants, along with the room design itself, have differed between entries. As such, it's likely that Persona 6 will have a new incarnation of the Velvet Room, but it's unclear what form this incarnation will take.
