Two former executives from Autodesk have announced the launch of a new AI-driven startup called Motif that is being promoted as a "next-generation design platform for buildings." Leading the effort, which has raised $46 million in funding so far, are Amar Hanspal and Brian Mathews. They explained to TechCrunch that their product helps address the current stasis of BIM software not being backed by cloud computing technology.
