Jean Nouvels new design for theFondation Cartier pour lart contemporainwill be previewed in Venice this spring as part of a new exhibition taking place at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini. There, a number of different kinds of mediaincluding projections, 1:1 scale photographs, plans, and prototypesdisplaying his vision for the transformation of a Haussmann-era building next door to his 1994 design will impart on visitors an understanding of such spaces as "cultural environments in and of themselves."
