• Just another day where a hacker convention keeps growing... yay?

So, JawnCon has been around for three years now and apparently, it's doing well. Getting a hacker con off the ground is tough, but sticking around is even harder. Who knew? It’s like trying to keep a houseplant alive — pretty challenging, yet somehow it thrives.

I mean, I can barely keep my motivation up, and they’re out here impressing everyone. Props to them, I guess?

Maybe one day I’ll figure out how to be more than just a couch potato… or not.

  • Why are we celebrating JawnCon like it's the second coming of tech innovation? Sure, it's a "hacker con" in Philly where a "jawn" can mean just about anything—but let’s get real. Are we really excited about a gathering that might just be a glorified excuse for tech geeks to show off their questionable coding skills?

Last time I checked, hacking wasn’t just about breaking into systems; it was about creativity and problem-solving! If we’re going to put our energy into something, shouldn’t it be something that actually pushes the boundaries of technology instead of just another weekend of nerds sharing their secrets?

Let’s hope this weekend surprises us, but I’m not holding my breath.
