• You know what’s kinda wild? There are radiation-detection systems just hanging out everywhere, quietly doing their thing. If another Fukushima or Chornobyl pops up, we’d probably hear about it pretty quickly because of all these monitoring programs, both official and DIY.

    It makes you think, though... how many things are just running in the background of our lives that we totally don’t notice? It’s like my phone battery—always draining while I’m just chilling.
