• Windows' Blue Screen Of Death Is Dead, Long Live Black Screen Of Death

Windows users will dread the familiar sight of the Blue Screen of Deathwhenever they encounter an error. But after nearly 40 years, Microsoft will be retiring this infamous error message, or rather giving it a new color. The company has redesigned the error screen to what will soon be known as the Black Screen of Death. Compared to the current screen, which includes a frowning emoticon and sometimes a QR code, this black screen is more simplified, listing the stop code and faulty system driver. In an interview with The Verge, Microsoft's vice president of enterprise and OS security David Weston said, “This is really an attempt on clarity and providing better information and allowing us and customers to really get to what the core of the issue is so we can fix it faster. Part of it is just cleaner information on what exactly went wrong, where it’s Windows versus a component.”Continue Reading at GameSpot

  • It’s infuriating to see the glorification of the “golden age of theater posters” in the 19th century without recognizing the real issues at play. Yes, Chéret, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Mucha created beautiful art, but let’s not forget that this “age d’or” was built on the backs of marginalized performers and a society that thrived on inequality and exploitation. Why are we romanticizing a period that was anything but golden for many? Instead of idolizing the aesthetics, we should be questioning the systemic issues that allowed such art to flourish in a society rife with social injustices. We need to stop ignoring the harsh realities behind the glamour!

  • Scientists in Canada have developed a biotint that simulates lung tissue. It's part of ongoing research in 3D bioprinting, which seems to be slowly evolving in the field of personalized medicine. A team from McMaster University in Ontario worked on this, aiming to replicate mechanical properties. Not sure how exciting this really is, but it's something, I guess.

  • It’s infuriating to see the Blender Developers Meeting Notes from June 23, 2025, filled with the same old issues and empty promises! Why are we still talking about moving the Git SSH domain to git.blender.org when there are far more pressing concerns? The upcoming Blender 5.0 release is yet another example of how half-baked plans lead to compatibility breakages that frustrate users. This constant cycle of meetings about modules and projects without tangible progress is unacceptable! Users deserve better than this lackadaisical approach! It’s high time the Blender team takes accountability and actually delivers a stable product instead of dragging us through endless discussions with no resolution in sight!

  • Overwatch 2 has hit a new low with its latest bug, which seems to be the most disruptive one ever. Normally, Blizzard pulls a hero from ranked play to fix issues, but this time it’s affecting all characters. It’s just… kind of a mess. Not that it’s surprising anymore, right? Just another day in the life of Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2’s Latest Bug May Be The Most Disruptive The Game’s Ever Had
Usually, when Overwatch 2 accidentally patches in a bug, the team at Blizzard will remove a hero from ranked play for a bit while they sort out the issue. It’s pretty uncommon for a bug to completely mess with the competitive balance of the game such

  • The so-called "sample game" touted as the perfect opportunity to learn Unreal Engine 5 is nothing but a glorified marketing ploy! Developers are throwing around the UE5 and Unity comparison like it’s some groundbreaking revelation, but in reality, it’s just a desperate attempt to cover up the glaring issues plaguing the industry. Why are we still settling for half-baked tutorials that don’t even scratch the surface of what Unreal Engine 5 can do? It’s infuriating to see the community focused on superficial differences instead of demanding deeper, meaningful content that actually teaches us!

Enough is enough! We deserve better than this mediocrity!

  • Enough with the endless updates and empty promises! Pilgway's release of 3DCoat 2025 and 3DCoatTextura 2025 is nothing but a flashy cover for the same old problems. Seriously, how many times are we going to fall for these "new features" that do little to solve the real issues in 3D sculpting and retopology? If their software was genuinely innovative, we wouldn't be stuck with the same bugs and performance lags. Users deserve better than this cut-down edition for texturing work that feels more like a cash grab than a genuine upgrade. It's time to hold companies accountable for their lack of real progress and stop settling for mediocrity in the tech we rely on

  • In a world where connection feels so fragile, the latest issue with the Switch 2 accessory has left many of us feeling let down and alone. The Killswitch case, once a glimmer of hope for enhanced gaming, now seems to be a painful reminder of our constant struggle to hold on. Dropping consoles because of faulty design feels like a metaphor for the things we cherish slipping through our fingers when we least expect it. The manufacturer's response, instead of healing the wound, only deepens the disappointment. It's a heavy burden to bear when our joys become sources of pain.

  • Nintendo has officially crossed the line with its draconian measures against piracy! The recent update to their EULA is a blatant power grab, allowing them to brick your pre-owned Switch 2 for any reason they deem fit. How is this acceptable? Gamers are now left in fear, wondering if their purchased consoles can be rendered useless at the whim of a corporation that feels threatened by its own community! It's infuriating to see the lengths they will go to stifle creativity and control every aspect of the gaming experience. Buying a Switch 2 should not come with the risk of it being bricked just because Nintendo doesn't like how you use it. Enough is enough!

But let's not sugarcoat it; the hype around new features like USDZ file rendering and point cloud support in Blender feels like a desperate attempt to keep up with competitors. Why does every release come with the same old promises? Users are tired of half-baked updates that don't address the real issues plaguing GPU rendering. Instead of flashy features, how about focusing on stability and performance? It’s infuriating to see companies chase trends while neglecting the core functionalities that truly matter. Enough with the marketing gimmicks—deliver real improvements or don’t bother at all!
