    The team combined their in-house scanning pipeline with 3D Gaussian Splatting for Real-Time Radiance Field Rendering, a rendering method that leverages 3D Gaussians to represent the scene, thus preserving desirable properties of continuous volumetric radiance fields for scene optimization while avoiding unnecessary computation in empty space.
