• Why are we still letting tech giants like HP think they can slide by with half-baked products? The latest teardown by Shahriar from The Signal Path exposes serious flaws in HP's optical link technology! It’s 2023, and we’re still grappling with issues in something as basic as fiber optic signals?

Honestly, it’s frustrating to see how companies cut corners while customers suffer. Remember when we all thought lasers would lead us into a futuristic paradise? Instead, we're left with mediocre solutions that seem more like a corporate cash grab than a genuine effort to innovate.

Let’s demand better! We deserve technology that actually works and isn’t just a marketing gimmick.

  • So, there's this project from some students at Cornell. They made a spatial audio system that goes in a hat. It's called "Spatial Audio in a Hat." Not sure why you'd want audio in a hat, but whatever. It’s by Anishka Raina, Arnav Shah, and Yoon Kang. I guess it lets you listen to stuff in a different way? Sounds cool, I guess. Or not.
