Disney has plentiful AAAStar Warsgames in development across a number of major studios at any given moment, but its not just the AAA scene where the IP has a strong presence. Earlier this year,Star Wars: Hunterslaunched for the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, bringing a free-to-play hero shooter dressed inStar Warsgarb to the masses, and soon, the game will be available to even more players.Publisher Zynga has announced thatStar Wars: Huntersis also coming to PC. More specifically, it will launch for Steam in early access on January 27, a couple of months from now. Prior to that, the company will also conduct a playtest from December 13-16, and then another one the following month from January 10-13, with sign ups open for both playtests now.The game is confirmed to feature cross-play and cross-progression, while Zynga is also promising improved visuals, custom keybindings, and more for PC players. AllStar Wars: Huntersplayers can also expect a new hero and map soon, in the form of Coruscant Underworld and Glikkin respectively. CD Projekt has several Cyberpunkprojects in the works, though it seems theyre all in varying but early stages of production, and as such, not read yet to be shown off. One such project, a live action adaptation set in theCyberpunkuniverse, was announced in collaboration with Anonymous Content last year, and CD Projekt has now provided an update on its production.Speaking during CD Projekts recent quarterly earnings Q&A, co-CEO Micha Nowakowski stated that the live actionCyberpunkproject is making good progress, but is still in the conceptual stages of development. Though the project isnt yet at a stage where it can be shopped around to streaming platforms or studios, Nowakowski says next year is probably when CD Projekt will begin that process.I mean, the conceptual stage has various stages of advancement, so were for sure further in than we were a year ago, but were also not yet at the stage where we would be shopping around the concept to potential streamers or studios, he said (transcription via VGC).
