Tencent subsidiary Starry Studio has confirmed that the mobile port of its 2024 PvPvE open-world survival game Once Human will be released in April 2025. Popular upon its release, though plagued by technical problems and player criticism, Once Human responded by pushing out a number of changes to gameplay. The game is now set to evolve further with a host of new modes, scenarios, and mechanics launching in 2025.

Warsaw-based developer 11 Bit Studios, the company behind the acclaimed city builder series Frostpunk, will lay off employees after it canceled an unannounced console game due to shifting market trends and concerns over the title's profitability. 11 Bit Studios is currently working on a sci-fi survival game called The Alters.

Fans got a hint of what's to come for future anime adaptations, as Netflix Japan recently released a promo video featuring their collaboration with Shnen Jump, with brief appearances of the incredibly well-written and highly acclaimed manga series Kagurabachi and Akane-Banashi. While this has yet to be made official, with the inclusion of so little, enthusiasts around the globe can't help but feel this is their first hint that these celebrated series are bound for an anime adaptation very soon.
