The Junji Ito skin collection was fantastic, and fans have been enjoying the return of the popular Chaos Shuffle LTM. While the first month of the new year has been good, all eyes are now on February. BeHaviour has not announced anything for next month yet, but we can create an early DBD February 2025 roadmap based on leaks for the Chapter 35 PTB and more so far.Dead By Daylight February 2025 roadmapBeHaviour has not shared the Dead By Daylight 2025 roadmap as of yet, but leaks suggest there will be the return of 2v8 mode. On the DBDLeaks Discord, Aricarna has suggested February 5th, meanwhile, Dvveet has suggested February 11th.While the dates differentiate on 2v8s return, the leaks agree that Resident Evil will be part of 2v8s comeback. Leaks claim that Wesker and Nemesis will be the first licensed killers added to 2v8, and they will be joined by Legion. In addition, the Racoon City Police station will be added as a map.The Resident Evil theme will also carry into 2v8 with new features. According to leaker, Wazzup, on the DBDLeaks Discord, there will be crates containing a new item that holds 3 charges and is able to cure both of their infections.Last for 2v8, leaks claim there will be a new survivor class called Meatshield. This class has the ability to Dash, and this is supposedly capable of stunning killers.Alongside the return of 2v8, its also been revealed that Resident Evil killer and survivor skin bundles are coming out next month. Dvveet has pointed to February 10th but has stated this date can change. There will also be new skins for Sable Ward and The Unknown. Dvveet has pointed out that what the skins are has not been shared, but Ruthless claims the following:Nemesis: Mr. XWesker: RE4Leon: RE4Rebecca: Ashely GrahamJill: RE5Ada: RE4Finally, February will be home to the DBD Chapter 35 PTB. This is the paragraph that is set to add a single licensed killer. According to Dvveet, this PTB is expected to land on February 18th/19th.BeHaviour has not unmasked the licensed killer to reveal their identity, but leaks suggest it is a killer from Tokyo Ghoul. More specifically, it is claimed to be Ken Kaneki, and they will allegedly be called The Mutant.Image credit: @Dvveet on XOf course, none of these leaks are official right now. Resident Evil 2v8 seems more likely as its posted in the leaks channel on DBDLeaks Discord, whereas the Tokyo Ghoul alleged leaks are from Ruthless, who has been wrong in the past, although they were right about the Houndmaster for Chapter 34.For more Dead By Daylight content, check out ourranking of the top 10 DLC expansions to buyalong with a ranking of thebest killer perksandbest survivor perks.Dead by DaylightPlatform(s):Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XGenre(s):Action, Survival Horror7VideoGamerSubscribe to our newsletters!By subscribing, you agree to our Privacy Policy and may receive occasional deal communications; you can unsubscribe anytime.Share

  • Is Tom Brady Selling His Billionaire Bunker Bachelor Pad?
    www.architecturaldigest.com
Tom Brady is considering cashing in on the Bezos effect that has jacked up prices in the wealthy Miami enclave known as Indian Creek Island, according to Bloomberg. The outlet reports that the retired quarterback has been quietly showing his custom-built estate on the manmade Florida landmass, which has been nicknamed Billionaire Bunker due to its high-net-worth inhabitants. Though it has not been officially listed, the house has fetched bids topping $150 million, according to Bloomberg.Jeff Bezos began scooping up properties on the island in 2023. Since then, he has accumulated three Indian Creek parcels, costing him more than $230 million in total. The Amazon founders presence has apparently skyrocketed the value of land in the exclusive Biscayne Bay area; an empty plot of land next door to Bezos that last sold in 2018 for $27.5 million recently listed for $200 million. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner also live there, and Adriana Lima once called the 300-acre island home.Brady and his former wife, supermodel Gisele Bndchen, bought the roughly two-acre property in 2020 for $17 million and then built an eco-friendly mansion designed by architect Scott Mitchell on the land. The former New England Patriot kept the dwelling following his 2022 divorce. According to Zillow, the plots 2023 assessed value was about $28.6 million.Join NowBecome an AD PRO member for only $25 $20 per month + receive an exclusive toteArrowPer Bloomberg, the current record for the most expensive single-family home transaction in the Miami area clocks in at $107 millionthat was what hedge funder Ken Griffin paid for a Coconut Grove property in 2022.Brady has shared glimpses of his Billionaire Bunker home to his Instagram account. • Tour Alison Romans Baby Nursery in Her Historic Brooklyn Home
    www.architecturaldigest.com
Brooklyn-based cook Alison Roman is redefining what it means to be a yummy mummy. Between authoring New York Times bestsellers and filming YouTubes Home Movies with Alison Roman, she recently gave birth to her first child with husband Max Cantor. High up on the to-do list before her son arrived was creating a classic babys room with delicious details in her historic Boerum Hill town home. The Sweet Enough author collaborated with Babylist, starting the rooms design with essentials like a boucl glider and walnut wood crib from Babyletto. From there, she introduced a vintage dresser that she already owned, sharing: I mean, Ill buy furniture from anywhere if its old. She repurposed it by adding a changing pad and sprinkled decorative items throughout the room that contribute a sense of character and warmth. Perhaps, even, a sense of provenance. The result is a charming room that is, well, sweet enough while also feeling authentic to the houses historic bonesas well as to Roman and Cantors enviable taste. It flows with the rest of the house, which has a lot of neutrals and pops of jewel tones and warm earth tones and is very cozy, very homey. We just wanted to make sure that this room felt like an extension of that. Nothing too precious, nothing too breakable, she says.We really want a lot of books in the room. Were taking cues from people we know who have already had kids, which is basically: Keep stuff in baskets and have a lot of books. You need less than you think, Roman says.Photo: Christian HarderThe finishing touches will continue to be introducedfor example, burgundy window shades were installed post-photo shoot. The process is organic. Plants will be introduced with the seasons, Roman shares: We love plants. We have a lot of them. We think it brings a lot to the space to have some greenery and things that are alive. At the time of our interview, a cactus was residing in one of the rooms corners, but Roman wasnt sold on it. Weve got some other plants we can audition for that space. I dont want anyone to be worried that were going to leave a cactus in the room with a baby.Days before Romanss baby boy made his debut, Architectural Digest chatted with the New York personalitywho is famous for recipes like her Caramelized Shallot Pastaabout the darling room she designed with Babylist:

  • Trump accused of using AI to compose slip shod executive orders

Trump accused of using AI to compose garbled executive ordersThat would explain some of the clunky language, say observersMary Papenfussin San FranciscoThursday 23 January 2025 10:03 ESTTrump gets busy on executive orders (POOL/AFP via Getty)Sign up for the daily Inside Washington email for exclusive US coverage and analysis sent to your inboxGet our free Inside Washington emailGet our free Inside Washington emailI would like to be emailed about offers, events and updates from The Independent. Read ourprivacy policyLegal experts are blaming Donald Trumps suspected use of artificial intelligence for the often slipshod language of his multitude of executive orders.Another 16 orders signed the first day of Trumps term were ripped straight from the pages of the right-wing Heritage Foundation Project 2025 plan for the Trump administration, economist Robert Reich claimed in a post on X (Twitter). Trump said throughout his campaign that he knew nothing about Project 2025.Many of Trumps orders are difficult to read and understand, marked by errors and stilted language, observers have noted, which could be a problem for Trump if challenged in court, as many of them are likely to be.Houston-based appellate lawyer Raffi Melkonian called attention in a post on Bluesky to a section of one of Trumps executive orders Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness declaring a rebrand of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Its language evokes a grade-school-level textbook description similar to the bland language of AI-powered chatbots. The Gulf is also home to vibrant American fisheries teeming with snapper, shrimp, grouper, stone crab, and other species, and it is recognized as one of the most productive fisheries in the world, with the second largest volume of commercial fishing landings by region in the Nation, contributing millions of dollars to local American economies, notes the order. That section was absolutely written by AI, Melkonian argued, who called the passage written for morons. In one of the most notable garbled executive orders, Trump declared that males and females are the only genders that exist. He also insisted in the order that gender is determined at conception. In fact, genitalia at conception are phenotypically female, notes the National Library of Medicine. A percentage of embryos will develop male sexual characteristics, but only beginning at about six weeks in the womb. That had Delaware Rep Sarah McBride, the first openly transgender person elected to Congress, mocking Trump for effectively declaring everyone a woman.Beyond the significant error, the order is almost impossible to read. It states that the genders include a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell and a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell an awkward and likely AI-concocted manner of language thats almost opaque. This is poor, slipshod work, Slate journalist and legal expert Mark Joseph Stern said of a number of the orders in a Bluesky post, adding that the decrees have been obviously assisted by AI.Lots of reporting suggested that, this time around, Trump and his lawyers would avoid the sloppy legal work that plagued his first administration so theyd fare better in the courts, Stern noted. I see no evidence of that in this round of executive orders.Join our commenting forumJoin thought-provoking conversations, follow other Independent readers and see their repliesMost PopularPopular videosSponsored Features

  • This doesnt feel like an amateur production Inside the ambitious Baldur's Gate 3 custom campaign project aiming to release a demo this year
    www.vg247.com
ModzoberranzanThis doesnt feel like an amateur production Inside the ambitious Baldur's Gate 3 custom campaign project aiming to release a demo this year"I feel like I have been training and working towards this one mod for the past 25 years."Image credit: Larian/Path To Menzoberranzan team/VG247 News by Mark Warren Senior Staff Writer Published on Jan. 27, 2025 I think the biggest problem that we have faced in regards to the overarching story is that this project is called Path To Menzoberranzan, and it starts off in Athkatla, Tomobamba says.Which is about 6000 kilometers away - to the south - of Menzoberranzan, the narrative design coordinator and creative lead of this Baldurs Gate 3 custom campaign modding project continues. Menzoberranzan is also underground, he adds.To see this content please enable targeting cookies. So, the task facing Tomobamba, project leader and level design team leader Lotrich, and the rest of Path To Menzoberranzan team, in their quest to put out a demo of their ambitious custom campaign in a matter of months time, isnt a small one. And thats putting aside the fact that its coming together only about half a year or so after Larian first released official modding tools for BG3 with Patch 7.Modders were quick to find ways to modify this toolkit in their own ways, creating versions like Moonglasses which are designed to give people the capability to create more complex mods for the game - ones involving the likes of entire custom campaigns and quests. Lotrich was there right from the beginning of this movement, experimenting with his own custom maps and managing to re-create locations like Waukeen's Promenade from Baldurs Gate 2.After this, Lotrich, a a huge fan of Baldurs Gate 2 and Drow culture since childhood", tells me they started to create a silly project. From there, they recount: Tom reached out to me, and showcased his experience with film directing, writing, etc. We had the same mind and ideas, though I was more of a tech guy, so Tom started to work on the storyline. We decided to create a new story featuring Athkatla and Menzoberranzan.Tomobamba tells me that they were drawn to the project in the same manner that they believe numerous other members of the modding team were - stumbling across Lotrichs regular Reddit posts about their BG3 modding work and progress. I have been playing Baldurs Gate, Baldurs Gate 2, Baldurs Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal on and off for the past 25 years, he says, To see Waukeen's Promenade in its beautifully-designed glory in this amazing Baldurs Gate 3 engine - this game that I played as a 2D top-down map back in, I dont know, 2001 - it just blew my head off and it was incredible. Athkatla's looking pretty good based on what the mod's team has shared so far. | Image credit: Larian/Path To Menzoberranzan teamI feel like I have been training and working towards this one mod for the past 25 years, Path To Menzoberranzans creative lead adds, I know the lore of the Forgotten Realms, the Sword Coast, Baldurs Gate 1 and 2s storylines I know like the back of my hand. The team the pair have played a big role in bringing together to work on the project, as you can imagine, is full of big fans of classic Baldurs Gate like Lotrich and Tomobamba are, but the latter says thats far from all each addition has brought to the table. Ive been working as a TV producer and director for many years, Ive been writing things for a long while, he tells me, Im really excited to bring the experience I have into a project like this, and Im really, really excited because this doesnt feel like an amateur production. We have managed to get the interest of some incredibly experienced people from all over the world, who have experience within specific industries that we can lean upon. We have people whove worked in video games, we have people thatve worked in film production, we have creative writers, we have modders, we have mappers, all with experience working on projects not too dissimilar to this. So, it feels like [were] not running a team of amateurs, these are very much dead-set professionals who are making something incredible.Naturally, this hasnt meant working on the project so far hasnt presented challenges. Lotrich picks out animations as the toughest task they and their side of the mod have faced to this point, explaining: those are very hard to create, but every day our team gets closer to understanding how to make them better and [more] efficient. It wouldn't be a journey in BG3 without spending 70 hours just chilling in your - or someone else's - tent. | Image credit: Larian/Path To Menzoberranzan team.Meanwhile, Tomobamba cites communicating and staying on the same page as the rest of the team as something hes personally had to work around, due to being based in Australia. Everyone else pretty much lives in the northern hemisphere, he says, So, to get on everyone elses time zone - because Im not gonna expect people to get onto my time zone - Im sometimes going at two, three, or four oclock in the morning just to have a meeting with some people. He adds that he and Lotrich are constantly talking in our DMs, and this has led to having to work around another quirk of being a team from all over the world. English isnt [Lotrichs] first language, he explains, So, sometimes we have to find the word that hes looking for.As for the practicalities of what Path To Menzoberranzan will look like, the team seems to have a good handle on what it wants its demo to look like, but is generally keeping its cards close to its chest when it comes to the specifics of what the full version and its story will entail. Our aim is two big locations: Waukeen's Promenade - [thats] gonna be much bigger than in BG2, for example the houses and buildings surrounding it will be accessible - and Irenicus Dungeon, Lorich says of the demo/beta, adding therell also be a lot of small locations.Gameplay-wise, they say you can anticipate: New combat, story, completely new companions with their own VAs, and romances - only a little part of the romances, same as romances in Act 1 of BG3 - new items, quests, and some completely unique mechanics that will highly affect gameplay in Athkatla. They do at little teasing in terms of that last one, saying: What can it be? Good question, I'm sure you can figure it out if you've played BG2. "What in Lolth's name do you mean I cannot come on this new adventure of yours?" | Image credit: Larian/VG247You wont be able to bring along the party for the original game, with Lotrich explaining that this is because the team don't want to use AI or run afoul of any copyright law. He doesnt provide much detail about what you can expect from the mods new companions, though, aside from saying the teams hard at work on them and that we want players to FEEL the companions emotions. In terms of the full versions story, Tomobamba adds: To try and find a narrative that doesnt feel contrived has been an interesting journey in itself. It was one of the things I was working on for several weeks, just trying to get this story to make sense. I dont want the player to arrive in Athkatla, and then be told Oh, by the way, the story isnt here, its somewhere else, youve got to go now.Stories are all about journeys, or some of the best stories are about journeys, and this story is very much a journey to an unknown place. So, to tell that properly and to work alongside writers to help me tell that properly has been quite the achievement, and were really proud of what weve made. It will parallel certain stories that have already been told, it will parallel certain journeys that people have already made, and it will end up in this most iconic, terrifying Drow capital.Who knows, you might die when you get there, he jokes, No, youre not gonna die. Im really excited for the story that weve told, I think its going to be very compelling and its going to be quite a unique experience.
