I really want to get a 360 camera to capture HDRIs. Does anyone have any recommendations for brands/models? I've never tried one before so I'm a total noob. I'm also open to older models that can be bought used.

Re @kingbobstudios That is what I'm thinking as well, although I'm actually currently looking at the previous model (the X3) which seems like it may have better software options for capturing HDRIs. Still undecided, though.

To make this gun muzzle flash effect, we used a nerf gun with a dummy ammo belt attached to it. We finally saw The Dark Knight Rises yesterday, about 6 months after everyone else. We liked it so much, we decided our current effects tests needed more batman in them!It may not be the tumbler, but the batmobile design from the late '80s is still a classic.
