Housemarques stock shot up higher than ever withReturnal,its first ever AAA outing, and the it looks like the studios next game is going to be cut from the same (or similar) cloth. At Sonys recent State of Play presentation, the Finnish studio unveiled its next game,Saros.Sarosis another sci-fi roguelike third-person shooter, much likeReturnal though obviously not connected to it in anyway. The game will see players playing as Soltari Enforcer Arjun Devraj (played by Rahul Kohli), and will be set on the planet of Carcosa, an off-world colony where things are clearly going moe than a little freaky (as evidenced by an ominous eclipse).Housemarque says the game will also feature permanent progression mechanics that will allow players to strengthen Arjun with each death. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse at what itll have in store.Saroswill launch in 2026 for PS5, and will also be PS5 Pro Enhanced.
