Polish company Clone Robotics has unveiled Protoclone, a human-like robot equipped with synthetic muscles and a polymer skeleton consisting of 206 bones.The YouTube clip below shows Protoclone using its synthetic muscles to move.Protoclone has a 500-watt electric pump as its heart and four cameras for eyes. In addition, the robot has 320 pressure-sensitive sensors and 70 inertial sensors, according to Ars Technica.In the future, this kind of robot could eventually help around the household for example, by cooking, washing dishes and doing laundry.
