WithMarvels Spider-Man 2having ended with Peter Parker deciding to retire, some wondered whether that meant he would have no role to play in the next instalment. That, however, wont be the case.The same has been confirmed by Yuri Lowenthal, the actor who plays Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the Insomniac series. Speaking in an interview with The Direct, Lowenthal confirmed that his character will still have a role to play inMarvels Spider-Man 3,and that he wont be relegated to the couch.There are very few things that I can say about this game, but you have somehow landed on the one thing that I can answer, and thats that, yes, Peter is not gone. He will be a part of the next game and he wont be relegated to the couch, I promise, he said.What exactly that means remains to be seen, though it probably doesnt come as a surprise that the nextSpider-Mangame is still going to feature- you know, Spider-Man. Whether Peter Parker will still be playable is the big question.Marvels Spider-Man 3has yet to be officially announced. As per a large-scale leak following a ransomware attack against Insomniac in December 2023, the game is targeting a 2028 release.
